Everyone is saying so I will say it too.
I loved MAG 200. I re-listen it all the time. I think it's a really good ending and a perfect balance of how the story wanted to end VS where the characters wanted to go. I love the open ending not bc it gives the listener to choose their preferred ending, but bc it fits so much with the narrative itself. There was no other way of ending it. There couldn't be.
I'm kinda afraid of what is going to be revealed bc I think even the slightly change in the ending might tear apart the delicate balance between the possibilities.
But at the same time there's so much to be explored post canon. Not regarding Martin and the Archivist specifically, but the world itself. They released the Fears into other universes. Time rifts are canon. I'm not saying multiverse or time travel bc those words had been so diluted with comics that they kinda lost their meaning, but something like it? Absolutely fascinating.
What I'm saying is. Maybe it's not post-canon or pre-canon, but something that is both and neither. Tapes recorded as if something was watching the whole thing all at once. An insight into how the web "thinks". The Extinction as a cycle. So on so on.
Anyway, ramblings from someone who's definitely not in their right mind.
